Consistent with the USA Cheer College Cheer Rules & Guidelines & USASF Level 7 Cheer Rules, Morehouse College Cheer derives all athletic ability in compliance with Collegiate Level Coed Team technique.

Consistent with the USA Cheer College Cheer Rules & Guidelines & USASF Level 7 Cheer Rules, Morehouse College Cheer derives all athletic ability in compliance with Collegiate Level Coed Team technique.
To be considered for the team, all bases and flyers should have the ability to execute:
2.5 High Pyramids & Pyramid Inversions
Free Flying Mounts/Transitions
Full Up & Down Mounts/Dismounts
Released & Inverted Load Ins
Rewinds
Flipping Baskets (Tuck, Lay-out)
Tension Drops
Partner Stunts
(ALL flyers should be able to demonstrate a proper heel stretch & arabesque)
To be considered for the team, all cheerleaders should have the ability to execute level 4 & above tumbling skills. This includes:
Standing Tuck
Standing back-handspring series to a tuck or above
At minimum, running back-handspring series to a tuck or above
(While this level of tumbling experience is required, it should not deter those who do not have this level tumbling from trying out. Making the team is based on experience but also the NEEDS of the team.)
